Scottish Economic Analysis (complete)
I conducted an independent analysis of the Scottish economy to identify the key drivers of GDP growth and assess how these relationships can inform policy decisions.
This work demonstrates how data analysis can be used not only to understand economic trends, but to support evidence-based policy decisions.
Key insight: My analysis found that productivity (output per job) is the strongest and most consistent driver of Scottish GDP growth, highlighting the importance of structural economic factors over short-term demand.
Productivity Trends in Scotland (in progress)
Inspired by the first project on the Scottish economy, this study aims to further establish what drives productivity in Scotland, and how it can be improved.
